LG Tribute won’t connect to a computer

Earlier today, I attempted to connect my LG tribute to connect with a computer by using a USB cable. However, when I connect it will not register on my computer and it will not connect to my computer. It’s been happening for some time now and sometimes it’ll connect but then disconnect after some time.

After I updated my LG Tribute to Windows 10 mobile, the phone no longer connects so it can be charged. When I connect it nothing happens and just disconnects after a few seconds.

computer won’t connect

I have tried: resetting factory mode, restarting phone and computer, plugging into different computer USB ports, and even charger cord into a different outlet.

hey reference the same issue which is connected does not connect or the computer won’t connect when connect to Windows 10.

connect does not connect

This is a 2 wire cord – it’s not supposed to carry data. (It’s used to charge things like wireless headsets.)

Plugging in the device with the cable will show the “USB charging” icon on your computer screen, but attempting to connect through USB using File Explorer or Windows Phone app won’t connect.
